How to prepare for a Kundalini Activation session

Before the session
Preparation for Kundalini Activation is simple — and mostly about creating the right conditions for your body to relax.
If you’re joining in the morning, come with an empty stomach.
If it’s later in the day, avoid eating 2–3 hours before your session. Skip coffee, alcohol or other stimulants — they make it harder for your body to drop in.
Wear something comfortable. Layers are perfect and on cold days thick socks are your best friend as warmth supports the process.
Just come as you are. Curious, tired, nervous — your are welcome as you are

During the session
You’ll be lying down with your eyes closed. There’s music, space, and sometimes light touch.
You don’t have to do anything — your body will respond in its own way.
Try not to overthink what should happen. The less you expect, the more your system can open to whatever shows up.
Preparing for an online session
If you’re joining an online session, choose a space where you can fully relax — somewhere private, where you won’t be disturbed.
Use a yoga mat, bed or blanket to lie on, and keep another blanket nearby if you get cold. Headphones are optional. If you can play the music through speakers without disturbing others, that often feels more natural. If not, good headphones work perfectly too.
Make sure you have enough space around you to stretch or move if your body wants to.
After the session
What you feel during the session is only one part of the process. Often, the real shifts begin afterward — sometimes gently, over the hours, days or even weeks to come. It’s less about the moment itself, and more about what starts to unfold in your life afterward.
As you ease back into daily life:
Grounding helps. Drink plenty of water, journal a little, or take a walk outside. Being in nature — even barefoot in the grass — can help your system settle.
Emotions may surface. Joy, sadness, anger, fear, softness — all of them are valuable. They’re your system processing what’s ready to move.
Meet whatever arises with kindness. Not judgment, not analysis. Simply curiosity. Everything you feel is part of your process, helping you understand yourself more deeply.
There’s no “right way” to integrate. Just give yourself space. Your body knows exactly what it’s doing.
